BioTaught third grade in Westboro, MA for 24 years. Established a Children’s Literature and Literacy Fund, which provides funds for libraries, schools and author partnerships with elementary students.
Coached basketball, soccer and baseball. David left an indelible mark on the students he taught. He was well known for his passion for teaching, his love of sports and his infectious sense of humor. Important sayings David lived by
-Stop each day for a minute and smell the coffee or the flowers.
-If it doesn’t change the rotation of the earth, don’t worry about it. -Friendship and love are the most important things of life, cherish them and have a good laugh as often as you can. -Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do! Inducted November 21, 2000 |
