BioMichael is a Global Health Physician at the non-profit organization Partners In Health. He is also an Associate Clinician and Instructor at the Division of Global Health Equity, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. All of his research, teaching, and clinical contributions for the past two decades have been inspired by his conviction to promote health equity and social justice.
Michael works as part of a team of health professionals, scholars, and activists that aim to break the cycles of poverty and disease. In particular he has focused on health system strengthening, HIV and tuberculosis programs in Peru, Rwanda, Madagascar, Russia and Bangladesh.
