Chief Meteorologist WXII –TV, Winston-Salem, NC Meteorologist for private weather forecasting services in Ithaca, NY and Bedford, MA Helped develop the color weather page for the national newspaper USA TODAY First meteorologist in the country to show “spaghetti models” that illustrate the complexity of tracking tropical systems. Under his leadership, WTVT added ultra-high resolution satellite pictures utilizing McIDAS HD. WTVT is the only station in the country that receives satellite pictures directly from space via its own earth tracking station. Community service
