BioWith his love of winter sports, Ted was the driving force that brought snowboarding to the World Cup and Olympic competitive level, Ted was the Founder, President, CEO of the International Snowboard Federation, the first sanctioning body that set the standard for snowboarding competition and laid the groundwork for snowboarding to become an Olympic sport for the first time in the 1998 Winter Olympics. He was the Chief Race Director for Snowboarding at the Nagano Winter Olympic in 1998, the Salt Lake Winter Olympics in 2002 and he Race Directed over 1200 Snowboard World Cups and 5 World Championships from 1995 to 2002. As a true enthusiast for all sports he has also event directed and produced International Cycling events such as the Celestial Seasonings Bicycle Classic and the DuPont ”Ride the Rockies” Mtn Bike Stage Event.
